Your tired body fights a battle every night
Until the blur of the morning
And it's faster than you'd like.
Every ounce it takes to pull your mind away
From the wave that's slowly approaching
It got the best of them, and it could get you still.
And you know it will.
Drawing pictures out and setting them in frames
Of everything that's coming
I'm in control tonight.
Tomorrow waking up, and then it's yesterday
Going backwards thereafter
I'll relive it all, and this time I won't fight
I know what I want, but the moment fades.
I'm running out of steam, and I'll forget today.
I know what I want, but the moment fades.
I'm writing what I need; it only falls away.
Alone on the edge of a frozen lake
And all of my dreams...
I'll forget today.
Long-time Boston spazzy math-punks take a deep breath and make their best and most dynamic record. Enigmatic lyrics and an overall atmosphere of paranoiac dread hang atop it all. Best of 2013 contenda Hex Map

What a trip. The first half of the album feels very optimistic. It's like going out exploring in the morning to a new place with hopes of having a great time.
The interlude is an epic and successful passage for a second half where you begin to feel great power. All this tour dominated by very interesting percussions and vitalizing melodies. gendema abandoned account
