Follow the path to the edge of the river Ambush a raft at the edge of the river Slaughtered and left on the bank of the river Searching for tracks on the bank of the river They won't let go. You don’t know my name You don’t know my name You won't know my name You won't know my name

November 17 05:01
Morning will arrive and erase you Warnings, danger signs I tell myself but I never know. I reach out with a fist Dissolve it to the wrist This is alright when the ink dries I write down a list Of things I could have missed This is alright; it's airtight Frozen overnight I slept through Only half surprised Tell your friends but no one will ever know. I reach out with a fist Dissolve it to the wrist This is alright when the ink dries Cool air and bare trees Frost and dead leaves Wrap yourself up tight as the year dies I won't lie, I don't mind at all I won't lie, I don't mind at all

The Bunker 05:33
There's frost on the window It's warmer here In concrete and steel architecture Below the surface You're somewhere here, I know The corridors all look the same And I'll find you It's cold outside But it's safe in here In the bunker We know everybody dies And I'm killing them In the bunker I will look into your eyes I will look into your eyes There's a trail of uniformed victims Carefully hidden In shadows and out of your sight Security cameras are all malfunctioning tonight You're somewhere here, I know The corridors all look the same I feel you near And I'll find you It's cold outside But it's safe in here In the bunker We know everybody dies And I'm killing them In the bunker I will look into your eyes I will look into your eyes And I'll find you

Rat King 05:22
You tore a mountain down to loose stone and dug us a hole. A blackened sky above a death zone I want you to know. Tails tied and senseless Tails tied and senseless You threw your lot in with a black hole. I want you to know. You pissed in circles with your eyes closed. I want you to know. You traded the health of your kids Drunk from the gas pump, building a pipeline Burning your own house down from the inside. Traded the health of your kids Sandbagged elections, legislated for profit Fucked up the future and made yourself rich off it But you traded the health of your kids. Tails tied and senseless Tails tied and senseless Tails tied and senseless

Erase the Antarctic circle, and spill out a tranquil, tepid sea. How many simulations run before you’re in one? Every breath inside you is working its way out of your lungs, Pushing itself into open space to dissipate. What goes under the surface and what is left? The future is being invented, and it’s a lie. So what are you gonna do when it eats you alive? A shimmering plastic island, afloat on a petrochemical sea. Polymer compounds drift in wakes, undecaying, and left as your estate. One last silent message, writ in a language no one speaks, Someday the now and the then will connect: a line drawn back, dividing What went under the surface from what is left. This could have been prevented; now it’s inscribed. So what are you gonna do when it eats you alive?

Hieroglyphic illustration, granite scratched Archeology of knowing, Generations going back, asleep at last Beneath your feet and slowly turning. They were here, but they aren't here anymore. Disappeared underneath the forest floor Au revoir Au revoir Ever-newer waters flow on those who step into rivers, Into autumn cities long forgotten as the seasons crept over buildings, over water: "You were here but you aren't here anymore. And everything that you did has been done before." This holy figure, carved from a single polished piece of heavy stone; This giant idol, plated in copper: fallen down, its pieces sold. This ruined castle, built by a massive threatened mob of flesh and bone; This ancient temple, thrice reconstructed: flooded, burned and overgrown. This hallowed ritual, born of a fistful of words on apocryphal stones; This global system, unseen network; files of compiled code. This buried city, self-guided funeral tour. Pulled from your pocket, it'll never speak again. It'll never speak again. This mighty kingdom sunk to the ocean floor. Lost, or illusion? You'll never sleep again. You'll never sleep again. Au revoir Au revoir Under the surface? Asleep in a furnace? I don't know.

Caverns 05:14
You’ll find me there Where water carved us long ago You’ll find me where The air is stale and the phosphors glow If you feel your way Among the stones and along the clay You will find A path washed over long ago And if you don’t hear the sound That/of echoes in the caverns The path turns around And if you follow me down Into the caverns I promise you won’t drown I promise you You’ll find me there Where rivers run through land below You’ll find me where The world is dark and the moss won’t grow If you feel your way If you don’t slip, and if you don’t break You will find A torch that burned out long ago And if you don’t hear the sound That/of echoes in the caverns The path turns around And if you follow me down Into the caverns I promise you won’t drown I promise you No time, you fear, To rest your head, Or turn and go back home The stagnant air, The darkest night The deepest, blackest hole Now drawing close a quiet place a message carved in stone a frozen sound: "Let go of me now" "Let go of me now" "Let go"
